FAQ

What are the age requirements for lessons?
Children can begin lessons as young as 4 years old with parental involvement for our youngest students. We also welcome school-age kids, teens, and adults of all ages who are excited to learn music.
How long are the lessons?
Lesson length depends on age and focus: 30 minutes for young children, 45 minutes for most school-age students, and 60 minutes for teens and adults. We can adjust based on attention span and goals.
How does scheduling work?
We offer flexible scheduling with slots available after school, evenings, and weekends. Lessons are typically once per week, but we can arrange bi-weekly or other frequencies to fit your family's calendar.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. We offer make-up lessons when possible. Missed lessons without notice are charged at the regular rate.
Do you offer trial lessons?
Yes! We provide a free 30-minute trial lesson for new students. It's a wonderful way to meet our teachers, try an instrument, and see if Harmony is the right fit for you or your child.
Is music theory included in the lessons?
Absolutely. We weave music theory into every lesson in fun, hands-on ways. Understanding rhythm, notes, and structure helps students progress faster and enjoy their music more deeply.
What if my child loses interest after a few weeks?
We focus on keeping lessons playful and engaging. Our teachers adjust to each student's interests. Many families see renewed excitement when children start performing favorite songs.
